After you have planned your very first Daisy Scout meeting, you are going to have to plan the rest! During your first year of Daisies, most of your meetings will center around earning the different petals. But before you can earn the petals, you first have to earn the blue Daisy Promise Center!

All activities with your Daisy troop must be hands on. Five and six year old girls need to be kept busy and involved to stay interested in the task at hand.
I have written a full length article on how to earn the Daisy Girl Scout blue Promise Center. You will need to have the following materials on hand before your meeting:
- Pony beads in the colors of the Daisy petals
- Elastic
- Bowls for the beads
- Extra volunteers (email parents at least one to two weeks in advance)
- Coloring pages and crayons for early finishers (find them here)
Good luck and let me know how it goes!
Here is an article about other books you can use to earn Daisy petals throughout the year.
