To celebrate National Pollinator Month this June, the farm families of Cabot Creamery Co-operative are thrilled to introduce their Pollinator Patch Program. This free, educational program will help teach kids about the importance of pollinators in our world and practical ways they can help protect and preserve pollinator populations. Troops and groups will complete fun activities and learn what pollinators do, why they are important and how they can help protect pollinators!
Everyone who completes the Pollinator Program will receive a free Pollinator Patch, and for the first 100 troops or groups to complete it, members will receive a special “Pollinator Thank You Pack” from the Cabot farmers and their partners at Kids Gardening, Cow Pots and High Mowing Seeds!
You can learn more about the Pollinator Patch Program here .
I have a group of Jr. Scouts
We have made a flower garden . I also have one of my scouts who is getting into bee keeping. I have tried a couple of other times to contact about the patch program but Noone has gotten back in contact with me. This would be a fun patch for.them to get.
Have you emailed them through the website and filled out the form? It can take a month or more to get your patches once the form it submitted. Here is the link: https://forms.monday.com/forms/2072237730fc850171c347b08b37152f?r=use1
Another way you can obtain the patches is to ask in the Girl Scout Buy and Sell Facebook groups. Since this is a free program, leaders with extras should not charge you anything but shipping.
