When my troop was younger, I always loved the Valentine’s Day meeting because it was a break from badge work. Planning was less intense, as a simple craft, a story, and a heart shaped snack were all that needed to be planned.
With most troops unable to meet in person, virtual meetings are now the norm. This makes planning more of a challenge. I know this firsthand as I now teach first grade Sunday School virtually, and all of the wonderful hands on activities that used to be a part of my lessons are sitting on shelves in my basement. I am reinventing each lesson as we go along.
Here are crafts and games to help you plan your virtual Girl Scout Conversation Hearts meeting.
