Free Girl Scout Noodlehead Program and Patch

If your troop likes to cook, this free Girl Scout Noodlehead program and patch is something your troop will want to earn. Your troop will be doing steps towards badges while doing earning this patch.

Earning a badge that involves the hands on activity of cooking is one of the most popular that a troop can earn. It is also an important life skill.

The Girl Scout of Citrus Council have something fun and tasty for your troop. Their free Girl Scout Noodlehead program and patch will have your girls making all kinds of food with Ramen noodles.

Free Girl Scout Noodlehead Program and Patch

This program includes a variety of recipes that use the inexpensive ingredient of Ramen noodles. Not only are all of the recipes included, this program also includes what steps to earned badges they relate to. Those steps are:

Badge Steps Earned:

  • Brownies Snack Badge Steps: 1 & 2
  • Junior Simple Meals Steps: 1 & 5
  • Cadette New Cuisines Steps: 1 & 3
  • Senior Locavore Steps: 3 & 4
  • Ambassador Dinner Party Step: 3

If you have Daisies in your troop, they can earn the red Daisy petal for being Courageous and Strong for trying new foods, the violet Be a Sister to Every Girl Scout by helping make the food, and the yellow Friendly and Helpful petal for helping their sister scouts and assisting with clean up.

The program is free and the patch is $3.00 each.

  • My brownie troop loved this?!? I had no idea the girls loved ramen noodles and thought this was the coolest. I wish I had prepared more of each recipe we tried because they were huge fans.
