Congratulations!
You are the leader of a troop of 12th grade Ambassadors! That is no easy feat, as many girls drop out before they reach the end.
Girl Scout Ambassadors are a special group of young women. No matter how busy life was, they stayed in their troop. Homework, other activities and commitments, and a busy schedule did not inhibit their ability to make the world a better place.
While the GSUSA does not have any official numeral merchandise for graduating Ambassador Girl Scouts (my Etsy shop does have patches for 13 Year, 12 Year, and 11 Year Ambassadors, as well as Triple Metal earners), I have a limited number these numeral guard pins in my Etsy shop.
What are Girl Scout Numeral Guards?
Official GSUSA Numeral Guards are available in increments of five years. While it does not need to be for consecutive years, for girls, it typically is. The five or ten year numeral guard would replace the Membership pins in that amount.
That being said, during a Girl Scout Ambassador’s final year, having a numeral guard that represents how many years she has been a scout is something she can wear on her vest or sash to show her Girl Scout pride.
In my Etsy shop, Simply Scouts, you will find unofficial numeral guards for Girl Scout Ambassadors. They are for 11 years, 12 years, 13 years and 14 years. Yes, there are girls who are in scouting for 14 years, as they were held back a year in school.
Available in my Etsy Shop
Numeral Guards are attached to the Official Girl Scout Membership Pins (regular or miniature size), and are placed to the left of the pin on clothing or on the insignia tab.
I was able to find a finite supply of these pins. If you want them for your troop, head on over to my shop and get them while I have them in stock!
