If you are looking for something fun to do as an end of year activity, here is a simple craft that any level troop can do.
This craft is useful because it promotes sisterhood, being responsible for what I say and do, being friendly and help, and being considerate and caring. The girls can not only use this at home, they can bring them on camping trips as well.
Note-Make sure the girls are not wearing their uniforms for this activity. Have smocks available for younger scouts.
Materials
Fabric markers or Permanent markers
Table covering
The girls will each get a different color marker and go around and write something nice about their sister scout on their pillowcase and their name. For example, “Sarah, you are so kind!” or, “Olivia, you always make me smile!”
If you need to go over a few phrases with the girls before getting started, have a brief discussion about things they can write.
