If you have read my blog before, you know that I love to bake with my kids. Last year, my troop baked cookies to send to our soldiers overseas. It was a fun and exhausting mission to bake with 14 kids (we had siblings join us), but it was so worthwhile.
Every Sunday, I bake with my twins. We make muffins and cookies for the upcoming week. My daughter wanted to make cinnamon swirl cookies, something different for us. I searched for an easy recipe, and came upon the Betty Crocker cookie website.
All I can say is WOW! What a great resource for parents and leaders!
Although I do most of my baking from scratch, I do have cookie mixes for quick baking for bake sales and school events. I had just bought a few packages for the Halloween Bash that our school cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy.

This recipe for Cinnamon Swirl Cookies required a sugar cookie mix, which I had. It was so easy to make!
I hope you enjoy the cookies as much as my family has!
