If you have read my blog or my articles for any length of time, you know how much I love to plan and organize. Even though it is January, now is the time to start thinking about a Valentine’s Day craft if your meeting falls near the holiday. Yes, I know that it is also World Thinking Day on February 22nd, but younger scout troops may not be celebrating this year, as they are new. Plus, you can celebrate WTD any time of year, not just in February.

Here are some great ideas I have found that all levels of scouts can create and give as gifts. You can even create them for a community service project and send them to a senior citizen center or to a veteran’s hospital. Cards and pictures are always welcome at these places!
