When my older daughter was a Girl Scout, her leader was very gung ho the first few years she was in charge. She always wore her yellow Girl Scout leader sweater set to each and every meeting, as well as on field trips.
While I used to wear a uniform of sorts during my five years as a Pampered Chef Kitchen Consultant (black pants and a white shirt), I never wore one to meetings. I typically sub on Friday at the synagogue preschool, and being knee deep in toddler land does not lend itself to anything nice or something that could get ruined.
