There is no hard and fast rule as to when you troop has to bridge. Many leaders do it in the spring as a last meeting and a way to end a successful scouting year. Others bridge in the summer when school is out and there is less activity with the girls and within their own households. There is another group who likes to bridge in the fall and kick off the new scouting year this way.
