I know you must be wondering why I am posting about World Thinking Day now, but with the upcoming holiday and cookie seasons sneaking up behind us, it is time to start exploring the first Girl Scout holiday on the new calendar, which is World Thinking Day 2019.
On February 22, girls participate in activities and projects with global themes to honor their sister Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in other countries. We remind the girls that scouting isn’t just something we do in the United States, we are a worldwide sisterhood. You can find scouts in almost every country! This year, the theme for World Thinking Day 2019 is Leadership.

Girl Scouts leaders do not have to reinvent the wheel and try to figure out what to do for this holiday. There is a guide for you to use, complete with the materials you need.
