Girl Scout Certificates for Troops Not Bridging

Girl Scout Certificates for Troops Not Bridging

There are many Girl Scout certificates for troops who are bridging. For those that are ending their first year in a level, there are certificates that you can give your girls as well.

In my last blog post, I shared 7 places where you can get free printable Girl Scout bridging certificates that you can give your troop to commemorate their scouting milestone. These can be given to each girl as part of her bridging swag bag or a part of the actual bridging ceremony.

For troops who are entering their second year of their level, there are certificates that you can give each girl at your last meeting, your end of the year party or at your last Court of Awards ceremony. These are available at Simply Scouts, my Teachers Pay Teachers store.

Why Give a Girl Scout Certificate?

If you are doing a perpetual Girl Scout scrapbook, this would be an awesome photo to include as the last page of the first year of your level. The girls can even put it in their scarpbook as one of their memories.

It is also fun to give a Girl Scout certificate to reward the accomplishment of finishing something that you started. As leaders, we have all had girls drop out after a few months. It has happened to all of us. Girl Scouts is not for everyone, schedules change and other activities are at the same time. Handing each girl in your troop a Girl Scout certificate with her name on it is a way to demonstate Girl Scout pride.

Here are the certificates available

Girl Scout Daisy

Girl Scout Brownie

Girl Scout Junior

Girl Scout Cadette, Senior and Ambassador (this is a completion of years in scouting certificate)

Are you planning on handing out Girl Scout certificates this year?
