Before your meeting, you will need to hide the Halloween candy you purchased for the scavenger hunt. Make sure to have backup candy and favors because there will be girls who find very little and others who find a lot.

After your opening, ask the girls what they are going to dress up as for Halloween.

Tell them they are going to make scratch art masks for the meeting to wear on the scavenger hunt. The kit in the photo above has 30, so your girls can make more than one.

If your troop is not into scratch art, here are a few other craft kits you can purchase:

Craft kit with 30 pumpkins

Available on Amazon

Halloween wreaths come in a 12 pack

Available on Amazon

After that craft is done, give each girl a white lunch bag and markers to decorate for the candy scavenger hunt. Make sure each girl writes her name on it.

Once the girls are done decorating, have them go on the hunt for candy and party favors.

If a girl has not found a lot, you can have the others in your troop practice “being a sister to every Girl Scout” and share if they have more than a troop sister.

What are you doing for your Halloween meeting this year?
