Congratulations if your troop has made it to 11th and 12th grade Ambassadors! This is probably some of the busiest years for your teens. There are so many decisions to be made during this time of their lives, like whether or not to go to college, trade school or straight to work; the pros and cons of getting a part time job, which clubs at school do I want to stick with, and how to fit in Girl Scouts with all the busy-ness of these two years.
For many leaders at this level, your troop meetings and outings may be spaced out, and for many, these precious times together are for chilling. These busy teens need a soft place to fall, where they are not required to live up to expectations. For many troops, these gatherings are a place to have fun and chill.
One of the ways girls chill is to eat together. If your troop is interested, they can have a fun meeting and earn the Girl Scout Ambassador Dinner Party badge for Pi Day, which is March 14th.
(If you cannot meet at that time, this is still a fun meeting where the focus is that every course has pie in in-either sweet or savory).
