Kindness Is at the Heart of the Girl Scout Program

From the very first Daisy petal to the final Gold Award project, Girl Scouts of every age learn that kindness is more than just saying nice words. The Girl Scout Law: A Foundation of Kindness
One of the first things a new Girl Scout learns is the Girl Scout Law. Within those lines are powerful reminders of what kindness looks like in action:

Free Girl Scout Kindness Program
The Girl Scouts of the Sierra Nevada have a free kindness program for all levels of scouts. At each level, the girls get to choose a certain number of activities to complete to earn the patch. You can do some as a troop and let the rest be done between meetings.
Print out the free Girl Scout Kindness program PDF, which you can find here, and hand out to each girl. Once she has handed in the completed form to you, you can purchase any kindness patch, as the one featured on the program is no longer available.
