Are you looking for a twist on earning the Girl Scout Cadette First Aid badge? Why not have your girls work on it using a zombie theme and no guest speaker is required.
For leaders who have a troop of Cadettes, keeping them interested in badge work is a challenge. I know that from my own troop’s experiences, which is why we did very little badge work after we they were Juniors. With the exception of Daisies, there is a First Aid badge at every level. If your troop earned it as Brownies and Juniors, what else is there to do?
The Girl Scout Cadette First Aid badge is different than the ones they earned when they were younger. This badge is part of the progression-as the girls get older, the situations become more challenging. In addition, the steps for this badge require a variety of guest speakers or filed trips. That is not always possible to do.
How can you keep your girls excited about earning this very important badge?
