While I never met with my girls over the summer until they were in high school (and that was so we could complete our Girl Scout Senior Journeys so my girls could Go for Gold), there are many leaders who do. Some meet and earn badges, while others meet a few times just to do fun and casual things together.

Girl Scout Summer Meeting Idea Tie Dye Beach Towels
Tie dyeing anything is something you want to do outside, which is perfect for a fun Girl Scout summer meeting. After the girls have finished, you can serve a make your own sundae bar.

Girl Scout Summer Meeting Idea Backyard Camping
A simple summer meeting is having your troop meet in your backyard and so fun camp activities without actually going camping. When my troop were sixth grade Cadettes, for our second to last meeting, we met in my co-leaders backyard and did this. We sang songs, told stories and made S’mores. It was easy and fun.

Girl Scout Summer Meeting Idea Have a No Bake Party
Who wants to stay indoors and use the oven in the summer?
Not me!
For a fun summer meeting, the girls can make no bake recipes. If you want, these can count towards one of the many food badges.
Some ideas are:
Armpit Fudge (this is just one of the many recipes you can find)
Ice Cream in a Bag (this is one of many recipes available)
For the smoothies, you can have the girls decorate a reusable smoothie cup for your craft. There are plenty of summer themed vinyl stickers available, as well as alphabet vinyl stickers so the girls can put their name on their smoothie cup.
