Make a Time Capsule
Taking a break from cookies and badges to think about the future is another fun February thing you can do.
Middle school is a tough age and it is where girls leave scouts in droves. Plant the seed of sticking it out and make a Cadette Time Capsule to be opened at their last 12th grade Ambassador meeting.
Depending on when you are reading this post, March 3, 2033 will have your girls as teenage scouts. Hard to believe, I know! Numerically, the day will read 3/3/33 and falls on a Thursday (Thirds Day). Have your girls create a Daisy Time Capsule to their older scout selves.

Do a Valentine’s Day Craft
If you are a Daisy leader, your girls can earn the “Be a Sister to Every Girl Scout” by making a Valentine’s Day bracelet for someone in your troop. Put everyone’s name in a brown bag. After the bracelets are done, have each girl pull out a name and give her sister scout the bracelet she made.
