For some of us, we are in the last part of our summer break and for others, you have already started the school year. Either way, you are all getting ready for your first Girl Scout Brownie meeting of the year.
What Do Leaders Do for The First Girl Scout Meeting of the Year?
That is a great question!
Whether you met a few times over the summer or have not met at all, the first Girl Scout Brownie meeting of the year needs to accomplish three things.
The first is for the girls to get reacquainted with each other and, if you have new girls, introduce them and have them get to know the other girls in your troop. Your established girls need to give their new troopmates a warm welcome.
The second thing is to establish a routine and set expectations. Doing that on day one will make managing your troop easier.
The third thing is for the girls to help decide what they want to do this year, eespecially which badges they want to work on.
My new product can help you.
