This free Girl Scout Healthy Brain Initiative patch program is for troops of all levels.
Updated August 2024
If you are looking for a troop meeting that will help your girls from Daisy to Ambassador, The Scout Healthy Brain Initiative is for you.
The Dana Foundation has a website full of free downloadable and printable activities for your troop. There is also a helpful introductory video to help you launch your meeting.
From their Girl Scout flier:
“Neuroscience is the study of the brain and nervous system. The human brain is “the most
sophisticated machine imaginable or unimaginable.” It is made of more than 100 billion nerve cells and
each one forms as many as 10,000 connections with other neurons.
