When my daughter was a Girl Scout, she enjoyed earning badges on her own during the summer. They kept her busy during the weeks she was not attending day camp. It also gave us some special time to spend together doing something we both loved to do.
Your child and troop can earn Girl Scout Council’s Own badges, even if they do not live in that Council.
Here are just a few that I found.Best of all, the badges range in price from 25 cents to $3.00, which costs less than a present day leveled badge. These are also official, so they can be worn in the front of the vest or sash.
