One of the ways I come up with ideas for blog posts is doing an internet search. Oftentimes, what I find becomes its own blog post.
While searching for inexpensive Council’s Own programs troops could do, I came upon this Reddit post. Back in 2021, someone put together a list of Council’s Own badges and patches. You can view the Reddit post here. You can peruse the document and see what might interest your troop.
Before anyone comments, I know that many of the links now lead to nowhere, as the page no longer exists.
But you can find the requirements!
At the Girl Scout Council’s Own Digital Archive, you will find access to almost all of the retired Council’s Own badge requirements. Find the level you are looking for at the top of the page, and check out the drop down menu for the letter the name of the badge starts with. Click on the picture of the badge and you will find the requirements.
