With spring upon us and the end of the school year in site, many leaders are thinking about planning their Girl Scout bridging ceremony.

What is a Girl Scout Bridging Ceremony?

A Girl Scout bridging ceremony is held when the girls are changing levels. The level a girl is in is dependent on her grade. For example, a first grade Daisy will bridge to a second grade Brownie. While many troops have bridging ceremonies, others do not. You do not have to do anything special with your troop in order to bridge; it happens automatically when a girl moves to the next grade.
